Friday, June 21, 2024, the Consortium of Brunello di Montalcino will present the second edition of RED MONTALCINO, the event featuring the Rosso di Montalcino DOC. Starting at 6:00 PM, the Fortezza di Montalcino will be bustling with a walk-around tasting featuring over 70 producers, exploring the diverse nuances of this Sangiovese. Thanks to its great versatility, it will be possible to pair it with regional, vegan, and fusion gastronomic specialties. The evening will be enlivened with the opening of the collective wine shop and cocktail bar, and a performance by a well-known DJ set.
The Rosso di Montalcino represents the fresh, young, and contemporary vision of a region that is an icon of Italian wine, and its multiple potentialities make it sought after and coveted on tables around the world.
