OPERA LABORATORI FIORENTINI has implemented a management system based on the recognition of Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality according to the requirements of UNI Pdr 125/2022.

“Gender equality is a fundamental right, affirmed in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) which requires that there be no obstacles to equal dignity and conditions for men and women in law, politics, society or work.”

The company, in terms of gender equality, therefore intends to create and maintain over time conditions in which all people who work with us receive equal treatment, With equal access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, and a working environment free from discrimination based on gender, violence or harassment of any kind.

The UNI/PdR 125 Reference Practice of 2022, entitled:

“Guidelines on the management system for gender equality that includes the adoption of specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators – Key Performance Indicators) related to the policies of gender equality in organizations” is a guide to a gender equality management system.

It includes the measurement, reporting and evaluation of gender data in organisations with the aim of bridging existing gaps, and to incorporate the new gender equality model into organisations’ DNA and produce sustainable and lasting change over time.

The standard identifies 6 distinct strategic areas:

  • Culture and strategy
  • Governance
  • Human resources management processes
  • Gender-neutral opportunities for growth in the company
  • Equity of remuneration by gender
  • Protection of parenthood and work-life balance

OPERA LABORATORI FIORENTINI has therefore defined policies, procedures, practices and codes of conduct that guarantee compliance with the principles of Gender Equality as provided for by UNI/Pdr 125/2022.

The company has decided to submit its Management System for Gender Equality to specific verification and certification by a third party.
